EU and government must strongly protest against hanging Iranians

The Iran Free Committee was horrified to learn that today two Iranians, Sadrollah Fazeli Zarei and Yusef Mehrdad, were hanged for insulting Mohammed and Islam. It is yet another proof that the cruel regime of the Ayatollahs must disappear and make way for a democratic constitutional state that respects and guarantees the rights of all Iranians regardless of their religion, beliefs, gender, political convictions, sexual orientation and ethnic background.

We call on the Dutch government and the European Union to protest vigorously in Tehran and not to stop at words alone.
